Article: Water pump operated by see-saw saves money for school

Colombo, Feb. 19 -- The students of the Roman Catholic Primary School, Walagama in the Galigamuwa electorate, who showed a positive response to the Principal's request to use electricity sparingly, invented a water pump operated by a See-Saw to fill the barrel with water instead of using the electrically operated water pump. The water pump coupled to the see-saw is activated when the children play on the see-saw.
