WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., Feb. 13 -- Purdue University issued the following news release:

The Purdue University board of trustees on Friday (Feb. 13) approved a master plan for the West Lafayette campus that emphasizes a pedestrian-friendly State Street and large green spaces spread across campus.

The board also approved an $8.7 million contract to install a sprinkler system and air conditioning in Harrison Hall, a $34.5 million contract to build a student services and library complex at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, a $5.25 million contract to plan for the installation of a boiler at the Wade Utility Plant, and $12 million to finance and construct air handler units in the ...
