WASHINGTON, Feb. 25 -- Rep. Stephen Joseph "Steven" Scalise, R-La., raised $1,608,688 toward his election campaign last year and spent $1,628,134, OpenSecrets.org reported. Scalise has $12,440 cash on hand and $195,463 in debt based on his latest Federal Election Commission report (Dec. 31).

The Center for Responsive Politics reported that Scalise's top contributors were:
