Article: RFK STADIUM TO HOST U.S. MEN'S NATIONAL TEAM WORLD CUP QUALIFIER VS. COSTA RICA

WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 -- The District of Columbia Sports and Entertainment Commission issued the following news release:

The U.S. Soccer Federation today announced RFK Stadium will host the U.S. Men's National Team in a World Cup qualification match versus Costa Rica on October 14. Kickoff time and ticket information will be announced at a later date.

Last October, RFK Stadium hosted a Semifinal Round World Cup Qualifier between the United States and Cuba, which saw the U.S. advance to the final round of qualifying with a 6-1 win before 20,293 fans.
