OLYMPIA, Wash., Feb. 13 -- South Puget Sound Community College issued the following news release:
South Puget Sound Community College will host a pair of lectures by Dr. Nina Nurmila, a Fulbright Visiting Professor of Islamic Studies at the University of Redlands, on Thursday, Feb. 19.
Nurmila, also a lecturer in the Islamic Education Faculty at the State Islamic University (UIN) in Bandung, Indonesia, will deliver her first lecture, "Muslim Feminists' Struggles for Gender Justice," at 1:15 p.m. in Building 26, Room 105 on South Puget Sound Community College's Olympia campus.
