TALLINN, Estonia, Feb. 17 -- The government of Estonia issued the following news release:

At the meeting held between Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and Vygaudas Usackas, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, who is on a visit to Estonia, the state of the world economy as well as energy and the plan to adopt the euro were discussed.

"We will achieve the best economic effect when all three of us adopt the euro," said Prime Minister Ansip and stated that Estonia plans to take forceful steps to make the adoption of the euro possible at the beginning of 2011.
