ACMM measuring solution for inspecting large ring gears and bearings, made by Wenzel GmbH (Wiesthal, Germany) is used by a builder of large construction cranes. The system combines the company's standard components, dual-arm measuring technology, and the air-bearing mechanics of its WGT series of Gear Checkers, plus Renishaw scanning probes, to inspect bearings and ring gears as large as 6000 mm in diam.
