WASHINGTON, March 1 -- Rep. Nydia M. Velazquez, D-N.Y., raised $1,136,163 toward her election campaign last year and spent $816,108, OpenSecrets.org reported. Velazquez has $471,878 cash on hand and $7,736 in debt based on her latest Federal Election Commission report (March 31).

The Center for Responsive Politics reported that Velazquez' top contributors were:
