California Polytechnic State University issued the following press release:
Cal Poly's student chapter of the Wheelchair Foundation is collecting used cell phones and recycling them for cash through Feb. 13. Proceeds will be used to supply wheelchairs to residents of Oaxaca, Mexico.
Cell phones with or without their chargers can be dropped off in the Computer Lab on the third floor of the Business Building (Room 03-301). Collection sites are also located at select Starbucks stores from Atascadero to Lompoc. For additional drop-off locations, see below.
