WASHINGTON, March 3 -- Rep. G.K. Butterfield, D-N.C., raised $792,329 toward his election campaign last year and spent $688,694, OpenSecrets.org reported. Butterfield has $141,682 cash on hand and no debts based on his latest Federal Election Commission report (Dec. 31).

The Center for Responsive Politics reported that Butterfield's top contributors were:
