ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 4 -- Nicholas M. Nardacci of Bristol, R.I., has developed a golf ball with a multiple dimples on its surface. The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. 7,473,194 on Jan.6.
The patent has been assigned to Acushnet Co., Fairhaven, Mass.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A golf ball having a plurality of dimples on its surface, the dimples as a whole are distributed on at least a portion of the golf ball based on Soddy circles. ...
