REDWOOD CITY, Calif., March 2 -- The city of Redwood City issued the following news release:

The City of Redwood City is partnering with Acterra, a non-profit environmental organization, to offer FREE energy-saving House Calls to residents in Redwood City. The Green@Home program brings trained local volunteers to residents' homes to install simple energy-saving devices, offer tips and ideas for saving energy and water, and create an easy home energy conservation plan specifically for an individual's home.

Both Redwood City Mayor Rosanne Foust and Vice Mayor Diane Howard are leading the way for Redwood City residents, having had the home energy audits performed on their homes. In just one ...
