SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 5 -- The California State Senate Republican Caucus issued the following press release:
Just days after California's unemployment rate topped 10 percent for the first time in more than a quarter century, I'm sad to report the news is even worse for those living in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
Figures released by the Economic Development Department showed that unemployment in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties increased to 11.8 percent in January, up from 10 percent in December.
In Riverside County the unemployment rate for January stood at 12.2 percent with 112.500 of the county's 926,000 person workforce was out of work. The employment picture was only ...
