Article: Anne Frank and Kitty Weicherz: Memories of the Holocaust

Albright College issued the following news release:

The Holocaust Studies Program of Albright College presents the fifth annual Richard J. Yashek lecture, "Anne Frank and Kitty Weicherz: two girls, two diaries and two memories of the Holocaust," featuring speaker Daniel H. Magilow, Ph.D., on Monday, March 30, 2009, at 8 p.m. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Campus Center South Lounge.

In 2006, Magilow edited and translated from German for the first time, In Her Father's Eyes, a diary of Bela Weicherz. The book documents the life of Weicherz's only daughter, Kitty, in pre-war Czechoslovakia.
