GOLETA, Calif., March 4 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service unit - Los Padres National Forest - issued the following press release:

The Forest Service has extended closure orders on some roads in Los Padres National Forest for the spring season. Additional roads may be closed intermittently during periods of wet weather. These closures are needed to prevent damage to unpaved road surfaces and minimize public safety hazards.
