ST. GEORGE, Utah, March 7 -- Southern Utah University issued the following news release:

Southern Utah baseball captured back-to-back victories in a Saturday doubleheader to take three of four games of the series against the Air Force Academy. The Thunderbirds scored wins of 9-6 in game three and 10-7 in game four to improve to 8-6 on the year while the Falcons drop to 4-6.

The T-Birds had to play catch up in the first game of the day after allowing two runs in the second and four runs in the third as Air Force batters chased SUU starter Alec Reichle off the hill after 2.2 innings.
