Colombo, March 12 -- Residents of Hunukete in Naula expressed concern about the shortcomings of Hunukele Junior School, which is the only school for children of low income families in the area. They pointed out that the school was in a deteriorated state due to the shortage of staff and physical resources. Hunukele Junior School, established in 1973 with six students and a staff of two teachers is today attended by 45 students and staffed by ten teachers.
