CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif., March 16 -- The Citrus Heights Police Department issued the following news release:

The Citrus Heights Police Department will be conducting a DUI Checkpoint THIS FRIDAY, March 20, 2009, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of Sunrise Blvd. and Oak Avenue.

DUI / Drivers License Checkpoints involve vehicles being stopped randomly as they drive through a specific location. Drivers are briefly contacted to determine if they are impaired; and/or licensed.
