PHOENIX, March 11 -- The city of Phoenix issued the following news release:

Councilwoman Peggy Neely will attend the Palomino Community Builders Inc. groundbreaking ceremony for the builder's inaugural housing development at 8:30 a.m. Thursday March 12, at 2615 E. Paradise Lane.

Six single-family homes, which will range from about 1,300 to 1,600 square feet, will be built on the nearly 1.5-acre property. Funding for the project is being provided by city of Phoenix Housing Department, which also is providing down payment assistance.
