Article: NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY STARTS STRONG AT OWN FALL INVITATIONAL

LAS CRUCES, N.M., Sept. 19 -- New Mexico State University issued the following news release:

The New Mexico State women's tennis team won 10 of its 13 singles matches and two of four doubles matches Friday in a dominating first day of the Aggie Fall Invitational at the NMSU Tennis Center.

Junior Sophia Marks and sophomore Isabela Kulaif both won their first two matches in the main draw to move onto the semifinal round that will be played on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. In the second singles draw, the Aggies had three players move onto the quarterfinal round.

Senior Paulina Zuniga, junior Aleksa Costa and freshman Natalia Salum Soto all coasted in their only singles contest of the day to advance ...
