Article: SENS. KENNEDY, KERRY, REP. DELAHUNT COMMEND PASSAGE OF BILL TO EXTEND CAPE COD NATIONAL SEASHORE ADVISORY COMMISSION TO 2018

WASHINGTON, March 25 -- The office of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., issued the following news release:

Senators Edward M. Kennedy and John F. Kerry and Representative William D. Delahunt today commended the passage of legislation by the House of Representatives to extend the authorization of the long-standing Cape Cod National Seashore Advisory Commission to 2018. The legislation passed the Senate on March 19th, and it will now be sent to President Obama for his signature.

The Commission is composed of local, state, and federal representatives who advise the National Park Service on development proposals in order to ensure the preservation of the unique values of Cape Cod National ...
