WASHINGTON, March 25 -- Rep. Lois Capps, D-Calif. (23rd CD), issued the following news release:

Today Congresswoman Lois Capps celebrated the passage of critical public lands management legislation. The House voted to adopt the Senate amendments to H.R. 146, the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009, by a vote of 285-140. The Senate passed the amended bill by a vote of 77 to 20 on March 19. Included in the legislation are four bills sponsored by Congresswoman Capps: the Coastal and Estuarine Land Conservation Program Act; the Integrated Coastal and Ocean Observation System Act; City of Oxnard Water Recycling and Desalination Act; and the Goleta Water Distribution System Conveyance Act. ...
