Article: MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY OPENS VAULTS, INVITES PUBLIC TO VIEW 'TREASURES'

STARKVILLE, Miss., March 25 -- Mississippi State University issued the following news release:

A varied exhibition-19th century clothing, 500 million-year-old fossils, clocks from the 1700s, and ancient woodworking tools, among others-will be featured for the next eight months at Mississippi State University.

Titled "Treasures from the Vault: Collections of the Mississippi State University Museums and Galleries," the display opens Wednesday [April 1 ] at the Cullis Wade Depot Gallery. Concluding Nov. 20, the free exhibition may be viewed 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
