MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR, Calif., April 10 -- The U.S. Marine Corps issued the following news release:

Some Marines swim while others may bike or run, but one hard "Corps" Marine serving with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 3 does it all, and can do it better than most.

Pushing past physical limits and enduring fatigue, pain and oxygen deprivation are things Capt. Katharine A. Barwick, communications operations officer with MWHS-3, has learned to master as a triathlete and member of the Marine Corps Triathlon Team.
