Get high-tech results with a new through-hull transducer that mounts flush with the hull.
A revolution in through bull transducer design is making traditional, large fairing blocks unnecessary. Because the most powerful transducers formerly had to extend below the hull a few inches, they required fairings that fit around them to protect them and to make them more hydrodynamic, While these fairings minimize the effect of the transducer on performance, they still rob speed and increase fuel consumption. And they are unsuitable for fast, trailerable fishing boats and for boats whose size won't support a fairing's rudderlike influence.
