Article: ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL INVESTIGATORS POST SUSPENSION NOTICE AT OAKLAND STORE

OAKLAND, Calif., March 12 -- The California Business, Transportation & Housing Agency's Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control issued the following press release:

On March 12, 2009 the California Alcoholic Beverage Control suspended the alcoholic beverage license of Sun Hop Fat Supermarket 2, located at 5424 International Boulevard in Oakland. The license is suspended for an indefinite period of time. The enforcement action is a result of an Oakland Police Department - ABC investigation that substantiated evidence of three separate sales of alcoholic beverages to minors within a 16 month period from June, 2006, through October, 2007.
