WASHINGTON, April 25 -- Del. Donna M. Christensen, D-Virgin Islands, has introduced the Judicial District of the Virgin Islands Act of 2009 (H.R. 1991), legislation that would "establish the District Court of the Virgin Islands as a court under article III of the United States Constitution."
The bill was introduced on April 21. It was referred to the House Judiciary Committee.
