Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (CA-45) today received The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) National Capital Chapter's prestigious annual award for her support of initiatives for cancer research and patient services. Bono Mack, along with Senator Edward Kennedy (MA), was named this year's recipient of Congressional Honors at LLS' Congressional Honors Program this evening, which also supports funding for world-renowned researchers at some of the country's leading research facilities.
