Colombo, June 1 -- The Hilton Colombo organised a programme which brought joy and cheer to the hearts and lives of several children from the war zone in the North recently. In a unique initiative the Hilton Colombo hosted 100 children to dinner. The children who were between the age of 10 and 16 years, were from the Kadiragama School in Menik Farm, Settikulum north of Sri Lanka. These children were also encouraged to paint as a part of the initiative and their paintings were featured in an exhibition at the National Art Gallery at the Lionel Wendt following which the paintings are currently displayed on the famous Giant Pyramid at the main lobby of the Hilton Colombo, and are for sale.
