OKANOGAN, Wash., May 29 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service unit - Okanogan National Forest - issued the following press release:

The Methow Valley Ranger District is hosting an Open House, Monday June 8 at the Methow Valley Ranger Station to welcome new District Ranger Michael Liu. Ranger Liu is very interested in meeting residents, permittees, business owners, recreationists and individuals with an interest in national forest management. The ranger and members of his District Staff will be on hand between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to greet visitors and answer questions.
