BOWLING GREEN., Ky., May 20 -- The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Attorney's office for the Western District of Kentucky issued the following press release:

Hunter Patton Vann, age 39, of Glasgow, Kentucky, in Barren County, pled guilty on May 18, 2009, to illegally distributing hydrocodone, Acting U.S. Attorney Candace G. Hill of the Western District of Kentucky announced today.

Vann is the former owner of Pharmacy Express in Glasgow, Kentucky. Vann admitted that between August 2006 and July 2008, he illegally distributed between 250 and 1,000 hydrocodone pills, some or all of which were distributed to former Glasgow Police Department Majors Johnny Travis and Maxie Murray.
