Saussy begins with a description of the difficulties women and men face in making creative use of anger, and discusses the problems women develop when they are denied opportunities to express it. She explores anger's importance in enabling growth in response to changing life demands, and analyzes its treatment within the Christian tradition-considering God's, Jesus', and human anger in our belief system. Finally, she gives practical suggestions identifying and making creative use of anger.
