ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 1 -- Andrew Richard Wainwright and Lisa Bates, both of Reading, Great Britain, Alexander Thomas Paul of Middlesborough, Great Britain, and Fiona Jane Scriven of Aylesbury, Great Britain, have developed a snack food. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,553,508 on June 30.

The patent has been assigned to Cooperative Verkoop-en Productievereniging van Aardappelmeel en Derivaten AVEBE B.A., JA Veendam, Netherlands.
