CARSON, Calif., Jan. 10 -- California State University Monterey Bay issued the following news release:

Senior Dana Andrews scored 19 of her game-high 26 points in the second half to spark a late rally for the Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team, but it wasn't enough as the Otters fell 73-61 to Cal State Dominguez Hills at the Torodome.

The loss dropped CSUMB to 3-3 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) conference and 8-4 overall, while the Toros improved to 3-3 in CCAA action and 8-5 overall.

Junior Helen Suarez recorded her fourth 20-plus game with 22 points to go along with four steals. Andrews led the Otters in rebounds, pulling down five rebounds.
