The Manitoba Motor Dealers Association (MMDA) this year for the first time provided for two scholarships at the annual Red River Exhibition Foundation Inc. scholarship presentations (which took place on June 15 at the Ex).
The MMDA's two $500 scholarships this time went to automotive service technician (mechanical) students Jared Fouillard, a third-year apprentice currently working at Murray Chev in Brandon, and Wesley Enns, a full-time mechanical apprentice at R.D. Ramsey Ltd.
The Manitoba Used Car Dealers Scholarship, which was handed out for the second year, was awarded to Dan Doszpod, a recent Grant Park High School grad who is pursuing a career in collision repair and refinishing.
