CHICO, Calif., Feb. 26 -- California State University Chico issued the following press release:

If the Chico State Wildcats are to get to the West Regionals for a seventh consecutive season, they'll have to go deep in the CCAA Championship Tournament...and have to do it on the road. The Wildcats missed an opportunity to earn a first-round conference tournament home game by falling 60-46 to UC San Diego in the regular season finale Thursday at Acker Gym.
