BRONX, N.Y., March 6 -- The City University of New York's Hostos Community College issued the following news release:

On March 7, 2009, the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education (AAHHE) will present the Alfredo G. de Los Santos Jr. Distinguished Leadership in Higher Education Award to Dr. Dolores M. Fernandez, President of Eugenio Maria de Hostos Community College. This award will be presented at the AAHHE National Conference Award Luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas.
