POMONA, Calif., Jan. 31 -- California State Polytechnical University at Pomona issued the following press release:
Depth has been a concern all season long for the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos, but they didn't let up Saturday night against CCAA-leading Cal State Dominguez Hills and went on to a 60-55 victory at Kellogg Gym.
Sophomore Tobias Jahn (Babenhausen, Germany) shared game-high honors with CSUDH's Jerrell Smith at 18 points as CPP improved to 11-6 overall and 7-5 in the CCAA. CSUDH, which entered the game tied with Cal State San Bernardino, Humboldt State and UC San Diego at the top spot, dropped to 14-5, 8-4.
