TURLOCK, Calif., May 12 -- California State University Stanislaus issued the following press release:

The Cal State Stanislaus Warriors rallied through the loser's bracket and defeated Sonoma State twice on Sunday at the Arcata regional to advance to the Super Regionals best-of-three series at Dixie State.

The Warriors went 4-1 at the Regional tournament in Arcata, including a 8-0, five inning win in an elimination game over host and top seed Humboldt State on Saturday. Stanislaus then beat Sonoma State 2-1 in the first championship game to force game two. In the nightcap, the Warriors defeated the Seaswolves, 7-1, to advance.
