ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 4 -- Kenji Yamamoto and Masayuki Taniguchi, both of Hitachinaka, Japan, Kouji Kuramashi and Kenji Kiyama, both of Kure, Japan, Takanori Yano of Kumano, Japan, and Hirofumi Okazaki of Hiroshima, Japan, have developed a method for injecting solid fuel. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,553,153 on June 30.

The patent has been assigned to Babcock - Hitachi K.K., Tokyo.
