FORT BRAGG, N.C., June 26 -- The U.S. Army Special Operations Command issued the following news release:
The men and women of the 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) will welcome a new commander July 2, as Col. Mark S. Lowe relinquishes command to Col. Jack J. Jensen during an 8:30 a.m., ceremony at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza.
Jensen comes to 1st SWTG (A) after graduating from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at National Defense University, Washington, D.C. No stranger to the unit he will command, Jensen served previously as the Training Group operations officer and commanded the Group's 1st Battalion from May 2004 to June 2006.
