GUWAHATI, July. 5 -- The Olympic Day Run, under the aegis of the Assam Olympic Association (AOA), was successfully held here today. Around 200 sports loving people took part in the Run, which was flagged off by the Assam Chief Minister and president of the AOA Tarun Gogoi on the Bhangagarh flyover.

Later, after completion of the Run, in a meeting held in the RG Baruah Sports Complex, five eminent sports personalities ' Pulin Das, Susan Das Choudhury, Ashad-ur-Rahman and Nandini Baruah were felicitated as a token of recognition for their contribution to State sports.
