WSLL Receives Books from Retired Judge's Collection - Jane Colwin
The State Law Library recently accepted a donation of law books from the collection of retired Wisconsin Court of Appeals Judge Paul Gartzke. Judge Gartzke was a frequent library user, and it is with pleasure that we've added some of his books to our collection. One of the donated sets has a special meaning for the State Law Library: an 1899 edition of Cooley's Blackstone Commentaries, signed by former State Law Librarian Gilson Glasier and noting the sale of the book to another State Law Librarian, Edwin Jensen. ...
