ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 6 -- Kenichi Hayashi, Tomokazu Nakamura, Naoto Watanabe, Yusuke Obuchi, all from Chiba, Japan, Hitoshi Kato, Shunsuke Nishimura, Tetsuya Terada, Daisuke Matsukura, Norio Motoi and Masayoshi Kubo, all from Ibaraki, Japan, and Yasutaka Iwasa, of Kanagawa, Japan, have developed an image forming apparatus with a buffer unit. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,552,917 on June 30.
The patent has been assigned to Canon Finetech Inc., Ibaraki-Ken, Japan, and Canon Kabushiki Kaisha, Tokyo.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A sheet processing apparatus includes: a buffer unit which stores plural supplied sheets ...
