GENEVA, July 6 -- Carsten Andersen and Heidi Ziegler Bruun, both of Denmark, have developed a compressed medicament-containing chewing gum.

The patent has been assigned to Fertin Pharma A/S, Vejle, Denmark.

According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to a "compressed medicament-containing chewing gum compositions.
