LINCOLN, Neb., March 6 -- The University of Nebraska issued the following news release:
Former college head coaches Barry Alvarez and Sonny Lubick will highlight an impressive list of speakers for the 2009 Nebraska Spring Football Coaches Clinic. This year's clinic is scheduled for Thursday, April 2 through Saturday, April 4, and the event will take place in conjunction with the Huskers' spring practice sessions.
Alvarez is the athletic director at the University of Wisconsin, after an impressive coaching career with the Badgers. In 16 seasons on the Wisconsin sideline, Alvarez guided his teams to a 118-73-4 record, including 10 seasons with at least eight victories. His Badger teams won ...
