Article: Landmark put on list of at-risk buildings in Canada

Brandon's aging domed agriculture building has been named one of the 10 most endangered historic buildings in the country by the Heritage Canada Foundation.

The Dominion Exhibition Display Building No. 2, which retains a provincial and national heritage designation, was originally built for the 1913 Dominion Fair. Years of neglect and a lack of funding support from provincial and federal governments have left the structure on the brink of collapse.

"We're hoping this will increase the priority of the building," Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba president Stan Cochrane said Tuesday. "It's an important heritage building. It has value and it needs to be fixed.
