ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 10 -- Paul Bernell Finley Jr., Joseph Vernon Lampitt, and Scott Vi Trieu Tran, all from Austin, Texas, have developed a method for modifying dynamic host configuration protoco. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,558,845 on July 7.
The patent has been assigned to IBM Corp., Armonk, N.Y.
