REDWOOD CITY, Calif., July 9 -- The city of Redwood City issued the following news release:

On July 24th and 25th, the Blues will rule in Redwood City, at the annual Redwood City PAL Blues Festival! What a great way to spend a beautiful summer day and evening, basking in Redwood City's glorious weather, enjoying top-notch blues performers, and helping to benefit the crucial programs of the Redwood City Police Activities League (PAL). The main performances take place Downtown at Courthouse Square. Here's the schedule:

* Friday, July 24th from 6 - 8 pm
