Detours from the straight and narrow
Unique and oft-changing paint schemes bring a little - or sometimes a lot - of flare to the racetrack, and who better to indulge us in a bit of behind-the-scenes info regarding the ins and outs of the process than recent Englishtown Funny Car winner Tony Pedregon, who has run with no fewer than 10 different schemes over the last two seasons?
ND: Are the images on the vehicles vinyl wraps or paint?
TP: Both, but the majority are wraps. You can do one or the other, or you can do both, with a painted base color and vinyl logos or graphics to complement it.
